The American Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA)—of which the L.A. Zoo is a proud member—has teamed up with Frito-Lay for Summer Fun 2015 to raise awareness and funds for AZA SAFE: Saving Animals From Extinction.
The promotion is part of an ongoing partnership that kicked off in May with Frito-Lay’s pledge to match donations in support of coordinated national efforts to save critically endangered species, such as the Asian elephant, black rhino, gorilla, and sea turtle. Past efforts of this kind have resulted in the restoration of healthy populations for more than 30 species, including the American bison and California condor.
Families everywhere are encouraged to visit AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums, such as the Los Angeles Zoo, to learn more about endangered wildlife and the importance of conservation. To help in the cost of admission, Frito-Lay is offering families a free kid’s pass* to the L.A. Zoo with the purchase of a Variety Pack featuring the AZA SAFE logo. It’s a win-win—for animals and animal lovers.
*Offer valid through September 19, 2015. Restrictions and blackout dates may apply. For more information, visit Frito-Lay Zoo Fun
